This is a kid-friendly version of mahjong designed for ages 8 and up. Instead of building a 14-tile hand, players work toward an 8-tile hand. Some rules have been simplified—such as where jokers can be used—to make the game more approachable. The game includes three progressive levels to master (we will be learning level 1), with the fourth level transitioning into traditional adult American mahjong. It’s a fun and engaging way to introduce kids to the game while preparing them for the full version.
